Legion Partners Asset Management was formed in April 2012 with the mission of becoming the premier small-cap activist fund for high net worth and institutional investors. Legion’s strategy utilizes deep fundamental research, concentrated positions, and professional long-term oriented active management to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns.
Objectives
Legion Partners wished to have a professional new website. Their stakeholders visit their site to vet them for investments, so they needed a website that would clearly communicate its investment strategy. They also engaged Navazon Digital to update their logo and branding to go along with the new website.
Strategy
Clear and concise copywriting and visuals were essential to their success. In addition, we wanted to show the experienced team behind the scenes so that prospects would feel more comfortable. Since they have beautiful offices in Beverly Hills, we suggested a photo shoot which would help clearly communicate the professionalism and luxury of the company.

Process
Our copywriter interviewed the principles at Legion Partners and wrote copy for the home page and supporting pages. We coordinated the photo shoot at their offices, where we shot photos of the building and the staff. We also created a back-end portal where they can easily upload and share their quarterly reports.

Creative
We updated their existing logo, giving it a more contemporary look while keeping the original, familiar character. The photos we shot at their office building are used throughout the website, as well as headshots and group shots of the team at their offices. This all worked together to create a beautiful and professional website that is in line with their new branding.
Results
The result was a professional website that communicates the client’s values and investment strategy while introducing the experienced staff. The back-end portal allows them to email their quarterly reports to a special email, and the report gets posted onto a private webpage accessible by their investors.
